Sunshade right at the entrance

In the summer of 2026, Lidl Germany launched a special pilot project in collaboration with Sunny Paul: At select stores, customers could apply sunscreen for free and contactlessly right at the entrance—using Lidl’s private label Cien, SPF 50. The goal was to make sun protection more accessible in everyday life.

The sunscreen stations were set up in Berlin-Lichtenberg, Cologne-Braunsfeld, and at Lake Tegernsee, among other locations. They were also present at major events, such as the Lidl Deutschland Tour and the Glücksgefühle Festival at the Hockenheimring.
