Enjoy the sun—but make sure you’re well protected!

Free sunscreen is available on the Radboud University campus in Nijmegen. Thanks to an initiative by the University Student Council and in collaboration with the Campus & Facilities department, three Sunny Paul sunscreen stations have been set up since May 2025 at popular locations on campus: on the lawn by the Thomas Aquinas Building, behind the Huygens Building, and near the sports fields.

Students and staff can apply SPF 30 sunscreen there for free at any time. After all, sunscreen is expensive, and that’s often a barrier, especially for students. Through a QR code at the stations, a dermatologist from Radboudumc also explains why sun protection is so important and what to look out for. In this way, the project combines protection with education.
