Apply Sunscreen and Reduce Your Risk of Skin Cancer

Since 2021, Sunny Paul has been working with Zilveren Kruis, one of the largest health insurance companies in the Netherlands, to promote skin cancer prevention. In the summer of 2026, there were over 100 sunscreen stations and 88 dispensers featuring the Zilveren Kruis design throughout the Netherlands, 43 of which were located in hospitals. Whether at the beach, in restaurants, at sports clubs, in amusement parks, or at festivals—everyone could apply SPF 30 sunscreen for free. By the start of summer, over 75,000 free applications had already been made.

The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of the link between sun exposure and skin cancer and to provide sun protection exactly where people often don’t think to look for it. After all, one in five Dutch people will develop skin cancer at some point in their lives.
